Dear AU Colleagues,

We are pleased to open the new University Club (U-Club) for the fall semester. Over the summer, we put the finishing touches on the U-Club, thanks to the input of many of our colleagues last April and May when we debuted the club for soft openings. Based on your feedback, we are also excited to announce a partnership between the Office of the Provost, AU Kitchen, Office of Inclusive Excellence, and Human Resources that will offer special programming for our faculty and staff in the U-Club throughout the semester.ÌýÌý

To kick off this partnership, the U-Club will host welcome-back lunches at no cost to our Faculty and Staff members this week. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The club seats about 30. These Welcome Week lunches will be offered starting today Monday, August 26 and run to Thursday, August 29 with two daily seatings. The seating schedule for this week will be as follows:Ìý

Monday, Aug. 26: First seating from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and second seating from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.ÌýÌý

Tuesday, Aug. 27 to Thursday, Aug. 29: First seating from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and second seating from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m.ÌýÌý

Starting September 3, reservations will be required via Open Table. Payments can be made in advance via credit card or debit card on Open Table. You can also pay at the venue using dining dollars or Eaglebucks. The price per person will be $18.99. The club is open to faculty and staff only. However, students may be brought as guests of a faculty or staff member. Ìý
