Dear AU Community,

We are excited to announce that the second annual AU-Airlie Fall Festival and 5K Race will take place on Sunday, November 24 at AU’s Airlie Hotel, Conference Center and Farm near Warrenton, VA. This event is a partnership between Campus Auxiliaries, AHealthyU, and , and is designed to offer the entire AU community a chance to connect and participate in health and wellness activities at our scenic Airlie property just before the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Turkey Trot 5K race is part of AHealthyU’s Couch to 5K Program and will be available for runners and walkers. Based on our runners’ feedback from last year’s inaugural race, we’ve designed a new racecourse that will offer scenic views of the entire property to all runners. The race is open to all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll through beautiful scenery, this event is for you, so lace up those sneakers, grab your family and friends, and join us for a day of active enjoyment. 

After the run, the festivities continue with our Fall Festival. This family-friendly celebration will feature an array of exciting activities and attractions including live music, lawn games, hayrides, and BBQ eats from our Airlie Berkshire Farm and Airlie Kitchen.

Please visit our to select the package that works best for you. This year, we will offer registration for the Race, Fall Festival, overnight stays (available to community members 21 years and older), discounted student rate, and an option for transportation to and from campus for AU community members on race day, if you need it. Please be sure to select the option with transportation included if you are interested.
